Dr. Regina Howton, D.V.M.
Veterinarian
Dr. Regina Howton graduated from The University of Florida College of
Veterinary Medicine in 2005. However, becoming a veterinarian was her
second career with her first being a Certified Public Accountant. She
enjoyed accounting but never felt it was her "calling". After about 8
years of working as a CPA, with the support of her wonderful husband, she
decided to become a veterinarian. After completion of vet school, she and
David moved to Canton, GA, where she began her new career as a veterinarian
and has never regretted her decision since. Dr. Howton is also certified
in performing Veterinary Orthopedic Manipulation (VOM) and Percussion
therapy for dogs and cats, both alternative therapies to help with certain
disease processes or as preventative/supportive therapy for your athletic
pets (please call the clinic for additional information).
Dr. Howton and David currently live with their 4-legged kids, Rowdy, Nick,
Pippin and Piper, which is a long way from the 16 they owned in 2005. They
have had a lot of tough losses over the years but both remain firm
believers that pets make the world go round. When you lose one it is so
very difficult but you have to try to remember the years of selfless
genuine love and happiness they gave to you. They both enjoy watching
Nascar racing, the Atlanta Braves and college football (Roll Tide!) and, of
course, spending time with their 4-legged kids.
